Many people have
asked us where did the name 'QPod™' come from. We'll here's the
story. We settled on the letter 'Q' because it is synonymous
with 'Quality' and therefore captured the image of what the QPod™ is
all about i.e. maintaining the quality of perishable products.
Pod is short for 'Pallet Operating Distribution' system. Pod
also has an image of something being protected inside, like
for example
'peas in a pod' which lends itself to the idea of a protected
self contained environment, which is an important function
of the QPod™.
The logo depicts the elements of the QPod™ system. It is
hand drawn to bring a human quality to a scientific and technical
process. Green and white are used to represent the freshness
of produce grown in green fields and clear skies. The colours
also
symbolise transportation modes, green for land transport, blue
for sea transport and white for air transport.
